Our client, a renowned name in Domiciliary Optical services, are partnering with us to support in the recruitment of a Domiciliary Optometrist to join them on a permanent basis.

You will attend home visits to support people who are unable to attend clinic, to perform optical assessments. You will always be accompanied by an Optical Assistant, who will support with the administration, frame selection, dispensing and carrying equipment.

Working in a Domiciliary Service environment, you will have an opportunity to make a genuine difference to people’s lives on a daily basis, providing a vital service to the community and to those who are unable to attend appointments outside of their home.

You will work in a set geographical area and will have the support of the full administration team to prepare and schedule your clinics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Optometrist with GOC registration.
  • Experienced and skilled Optometry professional.
  • Experience within a Domiciliary setting would be desirable, or the enthusiasm to move into this setting to improve people’s lives.
  • First class customer care, with a desire to improve customer outcomes.
  • Excellent clinical judgement, to deal with a wide range of clinical diagnosis.
  • A hands-on approach to working closely with the community, customers, and your team.
