Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating complex processes? We are seeking a Client Onboarding Manager to join a fantastic team at a leading Asset Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless onboarding and management of institutional segregated and pooled fund investors.


Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating internally with Legal, Compliance, Investment Operations, Client Operations, Finance, Fund Operations, Investment, and Implementation Teams.
  • Liaising directly with clients to understand their requirements and ensure they are met promptly.
  • Managing client expectations alongside funding and transition timelines and acting as the main point of contact throughout their process.
  • Establishing efficient servicing and operating processes with third-party representatives appointed by clients.
  • Working closely with the Compliance department to meet all regulatory obligations, particularly related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes for new clients.
  • Providing regular, clear, and detailed updates to the business regarding the status of new and ongoing transition activities.
  • Coordinating the operational setup of new Funds and support transitional activities for existing funds. Setting up client portfolios and maintain records on internal systems.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the regulatory landscape and support the implementation of strategic and product initiatives

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years relevant experience in client onboarding/transitions or operational experience
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver coherent and confident messaging
  • Experience of setting up derivative trading on new portfolios will be useful.
  • Confidence to question existing strategies, policies and procedures and get in involved with strategy discussions
  • Problem solving and relationship management skills – you will need to be confident leading project calls and meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and AML processes.
