The role sits within a market leading FMCG brand with a strong global presence. This well – known brand is constantly expanding, therefore making an exciting fast paced environment to work within.

Key responsibilities:
legal advice regarding processing of personal information under EMEA wide data protection laws
with the Global Privacy Counsel, updating and maintaining the businesses internal and external privacy policies within general best privacy practices
EMEA privacy compliance programme
expertise in privacy laws, including developments and emerging legislation around the region, particularly in relation to GDPR

Ideal Candidate:
2 - 4 years PQE
knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and practices, including GDPR
player with strong interpersonal skills
to translate complex data and legal issues into essentials and effectively convey to non-legal professionals
qualifications e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM
