Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Graduate? Are you looking to inspire GCSE and A-Level students while gaining valuable experience in a school environment?
We are seeking an ambitious English Graduate to join a thriving school in Richmond. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, support their learning, and take steps towards becoming a qualified English Teacher.
The school is a vibrant and inclusive secondary academy with approximately 800 students on roll, catering to ages 11–18. Known for its "Good" Ofsted rating, the school is dedicated to academic success and personal development. It consistently achieves strong results, with 72% of students achieving grades 4 or above in English and Maths at GCSE. The sixth form also delivers excellent outcomes, with a high percentage of students progressing to top universities.
English Graduate - Benefits:
- Permanent PAYE contract with a competitive daily rate of £96–£105.

English Graduate - Responsibilities:
- Support students in challenging areas of the English curriculum.
- Assist with GCSE and A-Level exam techniques and revision sessions.
- Work closely with teachers to plan engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to help students achieve their goals.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in English or a related field – Minimum 2:1 from a recognised UK University.
- Passion for education and a desire to become a qualified teacher.
- Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with students.
