Job Summary:
We are seeking an Application Consultant skilled in SAP Sales & Distribution. Expertise in S/4 HANA Public Cloud, or certification in this area, is highly desirable. Familiarity with S/4 HANA On Premise/Private Cloud, coupled with the right experience, certifications, and a proactive attitude, is also beneficial. This role involves working on mid-market projects in the UK, so prior experience in the mid-market sector is a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Work on client projects to provide SAP consultancy at a functional level.
• Undergo SAP Certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Travel to client site as and when needed in the UK.
• Some opportunity to work remotely depending on client requirements.
• Provide input into pre-sales opportunities as and when needed.
• Provides specialist subject matter expertise in line with the solution.
• Takes total ownership of delivering solutions and value to the customer by leading SD module in assigned client projects.
• Involved in analysing client’s requirements and create documentation like functional specs., functional design, test plans, test cases, back-out plans, testing results., root cause analysis document for SD area.
• Executing the needed changes in configuration.
• Resolve any specific functional defects as part of project build.
• Working on design of Interfaces and ability to resolve Interface issues (dealing with middle ware and frontend issues).
• Maintains an up to date knowledge and zest for the latest trends and utilises this understanding to bring innovation to our ways of working.
Required Skills/Abilities:
To excel as an Application Consultant, you should demonstrate the following attributes:
Technical Proficiency in SAP:
- Full Cycle Implementation Experience: Proficiency in SAP R/3 or S4 HANA On-premises or Cloud, including diverse expertise in Business Process Analysis, Implementation Process, SAP System Configuration, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance, End-user Training, and Production Support.
- Implementation & Support Experience: Experience in handling implementations, rollouts, and global production support.
- SAP Sales Master Data Management: Strong capability in managing sales master data within SAP.
- Pricing Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in pricing within SAP.
- Quotations and Contracts Management: Skilled in managing SAP quotations and contracts.
- Order Management: Proficient in SAP Sales, Service, and Solution Orders, including delivery and billing management.
- Rebates and Incentives Management: Expertise in handling SAP rebates and incentives.
- Claims, Returns, and Refund Management: Competence in managing claims, returns, and refunds within SAP.
- EDI/IDOC Handling: Ability to manage requirements and issues related to EDI/IDOC.
Nonessential skills:
University degree or equivalent technical/IT education.
Approximately 8 to 10+ years of SAP experience.
Around 4 years of experience with S/4 HANA On-Premises.
Ideally, 6 months or more of S/4 HANA Cloud experience.
