These full-time permanent opportunities are working for one of our prestigious partners, a market-leading, global packaging business. These dynamic individuals will join our clients R&D Department in Wantage. This isn't your ordinary apprenticeship – it's a chance to be at the forefront of cutting-edge packaging solutions The role will primarily involve supporting pack testing and technical support activities whilst completing a part time distance learning Chemical Science Degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Your Role:
- Work closely with the Packaging Sciences Manager.
- Dive into the world of Pack Testing and Technical Support.
- Be the superhero in complaint resolution and defect/materials investigation.
- Explore the development and qualification of new packaging materials and formats.

Skills/Knowledge/Education:
- Applicants should have a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A-level (grades BCC - to be confirmed on application), with one being chemistry or an equivalent scientific discipline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to present scientific data).
- Ability to balance workload with on-the-job training.
- Take responsibility for personal development, demonstrating commitment to learning and self-improvement.
Desirable:
Experience working in food packaging, food production or protective metal coatings.
