We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join the talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking school that is committed to both academic excellence and the holistic development of every child.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking.
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to the individual needs of all pupils, ensuring that every child is challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
  • Use assessment data effectively to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a positive school culture.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom, creating a safe and inclusive environment where children feel confident and valued.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continued success of the school.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Year 5.
  • A proven track record of high-quality teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to promoting high standards of achievement and personal development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the wider life of the school.
