SQL Server Database Administrator

to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of

fleet and asset management software .

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work closely with the development team and take responsibility for optimising the

performance of mission critical SQL Server instances . Monitoring the production workloads, you will make

recommendations

and

implement appropriate maintenance plans

whilst ensuring our client’s customers data is protected. Our ideal candidate will be a natural

problem-solver

with excellent

communication skills

and a genuine

passion for technology.

Key Skills:
Essential:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role managing mission critical SQL Server instances.
Ability to tune SWL workloads including monitoring production workloads, plan caches, understanding execution plans and optimise complex queries.

Desirable:
Experience of SSIS, Data Warehouse, reporting solutions.
Knowledge of Azure SQL.
Fleet/Leasing/SaaS industry experience.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
