Exciting opportunity for a seasoned Contracts Manager in the social housing sector Future Build Recruitment is seeking a talented professional to join a leading team working on carbon retrofit projects with local authority and housing association clients in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. This role offers excellent potential for long-term career progression and access to comprehensive training schemes in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage carbon retrofit projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to carbon retrofitting.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including housing associations, local authorities, and residents.
- Promote awareness and understanding of carbon reduction initiatives among team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the construction or social housing sector.
- An understanding of current legislation relating to carbon retrofit works such as PAS 2030/2035.
- Strong understanding of carbon retrofit practices and energy efficiency measures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the UK housing and construction industry.
