We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent, working at our site in Wokingham- *term time only position*

You will be working *27.50 hours* per week, Monday - Friday, *8:30am - 2:30pm* with 30min unpaid break.

Catering Assistant needed for busy secondary school with a keen interest in baking – ideal job for a person who wants a term-time only role where they can still develop their skills.

*Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of:*

· general kitchen duties

· putting away deliveries

· food preparation

· serving, cleaning and washing up

· maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time

· speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

· assisting customers whenever necessary, listening to any comments they may have and relaying these to the Manager or Chef

· undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will be customer focused, work well with a team, be safety conscious, and will be passionate about food.
