We are currently working with a privately owned housebuilder that are currently looking to recruit a Utilities Coordinator to join their team.

All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.
They have established an excellent reputation for building high quality new homes in desirable locations throughout the Northwest.
As the Utilities Coordinator you will procure, co-ordinate and monitor performance of utility companies in the servicing of new residential housing developments to ensure the targets are achieved.
Obtain records of existing services and budget cost for the provision of new services for the purpose of land purchase viability.
Visit site to ascertain physical record of existing services and review their implication on a proposed residential development.
Procure & coordinate any diversion proposals & off-site reinforcement requirements.
Procure temporary services to Sales and Build facilities.
Procure formal proposals for utility provision to new development, co-ordination the position of mains, services, sub-stations and gas-governors with layout designers and engineers. Produce combined services drawings in CAD format
Comment on planning layouts and engineering at early stage to ensure S104 & S38/ S278 compliant designs).
Comment on planning layouts and potential to value engineer.
Attend weekly Technical & Land meeting Post-Planning & Site Start
Utilities management, including Procure, manage, and coordinate utilities design proposals.
Ensure orders are placed for the supply of all services to meet the production programme.
Meet with utility providers on site as required
Agree and formalise the detail of all adoption agreements.
Respond to site queries regarding services and connections, disconnections etc
Monitor site programmes and pursue adoption completion procedures to facilitate road and sewer adoption.
Support the management of services providers throughout the construction process to ensure all information has been coordinated and fees paid as required to meet the construction programme.
Coordinate Utility applications and obtain Budget and Firm Utility quotation from Service providers.
