Global Interactive Marketing Online (GIMO) Global Interactive Marketing Online (GIMO) is a leading independent marketing agency and software developer within the iGaming industry.

Focussing on mobile and online Poker, Casino, and Sports Betting products in major European and Asian markets. GIMO specialises in all aspects of online marketing, website and online games creation in the iGaming, Sports Betting, Poker, and Casino industries. We combine extensive industry knowledge and experience to deliver performance across a wide range of services for some of the world's most established gambling brands.

THE ROLE


We are looking for a full-time Full Stack Lead developer with strong background with PHP/MySQL and React JS.

The candidate will develop new application features and maintain existing ones, someone who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. This position requires experience in making decisions and working both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team where everything the candidate does makes a difference.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Architect, design, and develop innovative solutions for our platform.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including product management and design, to ensure seamless alignment and delivery of an optimal solution.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, and PR merges.
  • Act as a senior member of the team, addressing problems/blockers/issues for our sizable technical teams.


Person Specifications:


  • Proven experience as a Sr Software Engineer with strong fullstack software development skills
  • Proven prowess with PHP and React (with React Native or Next.js framework)
  • Mastery of RESTful API development.
  • In-depth understanding of MySQL and Redis.
  • Familiarity with Kafka
  • Acquaintance with TypeScript


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Node.js proficiency, especially with web sockets.
  • Experience working with unit and integration testing frameworks.
  • NPM package management (Private)
  • PHP package management (Private)
