We cater exclusively to trade clients, ensuring top-notch quality and service. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our ranks and help us deliver excellence across the UK and Europe.


The Role:

As a Project Manager at Vertex, you'll be the glue that holds our projects together. You'll ensure the safe and efficient delivery of our bespoke and modular exhibition stands, working closely with a team of fellow project managers, our operations manager, and our skilled craftsman stand builders. You'll report directly to the MD and be based in Redditch, with occasional travel to Coventry and various project sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business, with stakeholders, and clients.
  • Price up designs and drawings, prepare accurate quotations.
  • Develop, produce, and deliver projects from initial brief to final delivery.
  • Manage and create timelines and priorities for each job, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Complete health and safety documentation for each project, as required.
  • Travel to client meetings and events, as needed.
  • Provide onsite project management and exhibitor liaison during build-up and breakdown.
  • Manage contact with third-party contractors both in the UK and overseas.
  • Efficiently handle admin tasks, ensuring accuracy in 3D designs, visualisations, and working drawings.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and quality project outcomes.
  • Juggle multiple projects like a pro.


What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and manage/motivate others.
  • Proactive, approachable, and supportive attitude with a positive outlook.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project managing exhibition stands from concept to completion.
  • Solid understanding of the operational aspects of organising exhibitions and stands, including reading floor plans.
  • Flexibility to handle a varied role that includes travel, some irregular working hours (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as needed).
  • Outstanding communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
