We are looking for a passionate Sous chef who can confidently deliver fresh food to a high standard to our guests. At the same time, our Sous chef will support the team and be able to lead all sections of the kitchen. You will work with the senior kitchen team to ensure consistently high standards in both service and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will have good food knowledge and Health and Safety standards, passion for cooking and bags of enthusiasm. Experience in rosette kitchen preferred but not essential, the right attitude and enthusiasm is more important

As Sous chef you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the sections are managed in an effective, efficient and productive manner under the guidance and supervision of the Head Chef.

*Sous Chef Roles & Responsibilities:*

* Assist senior kitchen team with maintaining standards
* Supervise and coordinate activities of staff within the kitchen environment
* Help develop new recipes and determine how to present the food
* Help with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness
* Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
* Assist with training of the apprentice and lead by example
* Be confident with running each section accordingly
* Monitor and maintain all aspect of health and safety, regulation and kitchen cleanliness.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
