Language Empire is a translation and localization company that specializes in providing face-to-face interpreting, sign language interpreting, non-spoken interpreting, simultaneous, and conference interpreting services to public sector organizations in the UK. With over 500 languages available, we are dedicated to bridging communication gaps and enabling smooth interactions between clients and their audience. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team and help us continue providing high-quality services to every customer. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects, ensuring that they are successfully delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the clients. You will also work closely with our internal departments of to identify any issues and provide proactive solutions where required. This is a dynamic role suited to someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language and promoting understanding between different cultures.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timelines are met
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding project statuses and any issues that may arise
- Creating and adhering to a budget that incorporates cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any project-related issues
- Implement improvements to existing processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field
- Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP) or similar (desirable)
- Experience as a project coordinator or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluency in English
