Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a leading Private Equity backed service company to recruit a Senior Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. Role offered on a 12 month fixed term contract, either on a full time or a 4 day week basis.

Who are we looking for:
Firstly, it’s important that you can start in October to gain an in-depth handover. You should also be keen to commit to the full 12 month duration. Professionally qualified is preferred, but our client is also open to experienced applicants with the requisite technical skills.
The role:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for undertaking accounts-based tasks as instructed by the Accounting Manager. This will include, but is not limited to, statutory accounts preparation, audit work, Balance Sheet Rec’s, as well as a range of ad-hoc projects.
Working in a small, close-knit team, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting with a variety of essential tasks.
