We require a Vehicle Mot tester to join our clientsAftersales Department at a maindealership in York.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
This role is predominantly for a Mot tester but will also require you to do the technician role during quiet times
Role and Responsibilities:
To undertake Mot's, maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard
Repair, test vehicles and diagnose their faults
Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables
Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised
Carry out work completely and effectively
Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 2 years recent on the job experience with light vehicle certification
Hold a valid MOT Card
Excellent work ethic and team member
Full UK driving licence
Own tools
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, efficient and organised. This position is within a busy workshop environment, as such you will be provided with a competitive remuneration package depending on experience.
Salary of £35,000 for the right candidate or ote of £40,000, as well as industry leading This is a fulltime position includes 30 days annual leave, inc bank holidays. Plus your birthday off
The working days are Monday Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a team rota
