Job Description

Version 1 are one of a handful of AWS Premier Consulting Partners, which is the highest tier of AWS Partnership available. You will be working for the AWS Practice which consists of some of the best Architects, DevOps Engineers and Consultants.

The customer engagements are varied and the exposure to cutting-edge technologies is always present. You will work in a mixture of teams to deliver solutions to some of the most high-profile customers in Europe. Version 1 invests in their people and you will be encouraged to take Associate, Professional and Speciality certifications and additional training that is relevant to your role. We have a successful learning and development programme that will allow you the freedom to take on training and certifications on the training platform of your choice.

The role is varied in scope and technology, and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies (CI/CD pipelines, config management, etc.)
Developing the AWS Platform using Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines.
Working with AWS best practices
Helping Version 1 work on proposals with your technical skills
Use your expertise to provide some thought leadership

Qualifications

Security Clearance eligible. You musthavethe right to work in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland and have been resident in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland for 5 or more consecutive years
Experience in AWS
At least one software development language (Python, NodeJS, Java, .Net etc.)
Linux (RHEL, Centos) and Bash
Experience with Hashicorp products, such as Packer, Terraform and Vault
Experience with DevOps tooling e.g. Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, AWS CI/CD services etc.

Additional Information

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, London or Newcastle Upon Tyne.
