Position Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing with basic understanding of SAP Ariba, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance , Sales & Distribution, WM/EWM and Transportation Management.

• Must have design and configuration experience in : MM Master Data, Business Partner, Sourcing, Procurement, Pricing, Inventory management, Physical inventory, Release Management, Version Management, Valuation and account assignment, Invoice verification, MM Fiori apps

• Must have Integration experience SAP with non-SAP external systems (Supplier collaboration, Invoicing, etc.) / internal legacy systems

• Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with ABAP team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests

• Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay and working on Fiori UI

• Sound knowledge of purchasing integration with other modules of SAP

• Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment

• Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems

• Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation

• Develop, review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners

• Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues

• Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager

• Certifications in either SAP MM or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage

• Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods

• Strong understanding and experience of SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products

• Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry

• In depth knowledge of SAP MM user exits, batch jobs, SAP standard reports

• Ability of handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP

• Contribute for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology

• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI

• Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 12-16 years of overall SAP experience in asset intensive and manufacturing environments in which 8+ years of experience in SAP MM/Procurement

• Candidate should have done minimum 4 - 5 MM/Purchasing implementation projects. Minimum 2 E2E implementation

• Must have good knowledge of Indirect & Direct Procurement, Inter-company purchase, Stock transfer orders and Invoicing

Experience of S/4 HANA and should be well aware of the S/4HANA road-map, aware of differences between various releases and new
