You’ll collaborate with teams across the firm’s three divisions to produce high-quality responses to opportunities of all sizes.

Operating in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with stakeholders across global offices on a day-to-day basis you’re key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing tenders from initial assessment of the opportunity, including bid/no bid qualification, through to drafting, submission, preparing teams for presentations and post submission feedback and reporting.
  • Identifying winning themes that convey an understanding of client requirements and differentiate our offering to those of our competitors.
  • Generating written responses and marketing materials that are completed to a high standard and are compelling, clear, and compliant.
  • Developing and maintaining a library of precedent text for tenders including capturing all deal/transaction information to be utilised in future bids.
  • Managing internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.
  • Researching and establishing procurement cycles and engaging with procurement professionals within key target and key client organisations to contribute to the firm’s sales pipeline.
  • Providing input to the lessons learnt process from involvement with previous submissions.
  • Take responsibility for additional projects, as directed by the Head of Bids and Proposals.

What are we looking for:

Essential

  • Prior experience in a tender management and a bid writing capacity.
  • Proven ability writing concise written bid responses based on highly technical information.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in creative writing, English or Marketing.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Excellent and engaging communication skills.
  • Advanced IT skills across a broad range of applications including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines, working with a proactive approach under own initiative.

Desirable

  • Understanding of layout and graphics and knowledge of InDesign is advantageous.
  • APMP (Association for Proposal Management Professional) Foundation Certification or strong understanding of proposal best practice.
