Job Title: Senior Operations Technician (Electrical) Location: Barrow-In-Furness – On Site Salary: £35,802+ depending on experience What you’ll be doing: Maintaining and repairing automated welding equipment, fire alarms and casting machines Using maintenance software such as SAP to manage and update maintenance records Supporting a variety of projects, offering technical guidance and advice to enable successful project completion Managing relationships with stakeholders, production, and other teams across site & facilities Liaising with Contractors and manufacturers to aide in maintenance Your skills and experiences: Essential Machine tool maintenance Time served electrical apprenticeship.

The Welding Technician Team: You will be working under the production maintenance department and a key individual in keeping maintenance downtime at a minimum and helping to keep major projects progressing at pace.

You will be a local SME within this discipline and have a valuable insight to share with them teams.

There will be many opportunities to meet and regularly liaise with key stakeholders and contractors.

You will also have the chance to develop your skillset and progress your career with BAE Systems.
