Job Description
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pro-active Consultant Anaesthetist to join the team at Winfield Hospital, based in Gloucester. The successful candidate would be expected to work closely with the existing team to provide a comprehensive Anaesthetic service. This will involve inpatient and day case acute surgery.
The position is for 40 hours a week, including time for CPD. Part time position would also be considered.
With a current registration with the GMCs specialist register you will have several years’ experience, at least 2 of which are within the UK.
You are committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development.

About Us
Winfield Hospital is one of Gloucestershire's leading private hospitals which is located on the outskirts of Gloucester. The hospital is within touching distance of the Cotswolds and the cities of Gloucester and Cheltenham.
The hospital opened in 1992 and has built an excellent reputation for delivering first class healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment and NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system. The Key specialities which are offered from site include Orthopaedics, Spinal, General Surgery, Gynaecology services, Urology services and Gastroenterology.
The Facilities on the site have three fully equipped, laminar flow theatres, with a six-bedded recovery, a dedicated JAG accredited endoscopy unit, and twelve outpatient consulting rooms with associated examination and treatment facilities. Other outpatient facilities include physiotherapy, pharmacy, audiology, radiology, ultrasound, MRI and CT.
