Electrical Engineer

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team based in Mogden.

Location: Twickenham, Mogden


Contract: Permanent - Full Time 


 


What will you be responsible for?


As a Electrical Engineer, you'll be working within our Mogden Treatment Works site for our client Thames Water, supporting them in supervising and managing operational resources to ensure project plans are executed safely, timely, and with quality, maximizing customer satisfaction and profit, while adhering to Kier Group's policies and promoting its values.



 

 


Your day to day will include:



  • Supervising Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems within the sewage treatment plant, perform routine maintenance, and ensure adherence to electrical codes and safety protocols.
  • Participating in planning and scheduling electrical maintenance activities, manage Sub-Contractor performance, and maintain related documentation including permits and reports.
  • Implementing and maintaining a safe work environment, conduct safety briefings, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Supporting the implementation of Business Assurance Systems, ensure work meets specifications, review and sign off on quality documents, and manage the Quality Handover Portal.

 


What are we looking for?


This role of Electrical Engineer is great for you if you have:



  • Experience with Mechanical & Electrical schemes.
  • Electrician qualification to level 3
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
