Principal SQL Server DBA - £100k+ - FinTech

Our client is a leading FinTech, building the next generation of credit products, finance apps and payments platforms.

In central London with flexible, hybrid, working, they’re looking for a Senior and Lead-level SQL Server DBA with good AWS experience.

You’ll work across defining database best practices and policies, performance tuning and engineering, HA/DR, automation and even security – A varied role for a SQL Server expert at a growing FinTech .

You’ll be the sole DBA and have the chance to own the database solution in a fast-paced FinTech and start-up environment, taking the lead in driving the design, support and performance of database solutions.

You’ll also be key in the drive towards more AWS and Cloud usage and the build out of Aurora and RedShift databases - Not something to miss

Requirements:

  • An expert-level knowledge of SQL Server
  • Proven database administration and engineering skills
  • Experience of live transactional systems and / or live consumer products
  • Good cloud experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of RedShift and / or Aurora is ideal
  • Understanding of data warehousing and BI
  • Solid knowledge of database security
