Office Location: Wiltshire

Salary: Up to £60,000

Our client, a consultancy with a specialism in supporting Government and Defence agencies in next generation programmes. Is seeking to find technically minded individuals with a history working in the same domain. To support the business in its new product/service offering that seeks to replace antiquated systems in the service. To refine and speed up the working capabilities of the UK government and National Security sector. In a rapidly growing, UK leading SME, working on cutting edge projects, this role offers a massive opportunity to have real world impact.

What we’re looking:

  • 2 years minimum of experience working in or with the Defence Industry or Civil Service (Central Gov).
  • Active UK Security Clearance, or ability and willing to obtain clearances.
  • Understanding of Data Science and or Systems Engineering.
  • Share an interest and knowledge in digital transformation, AI and data; its evolution, and application towards national/ global interests.
  • Have a great business acumen and strong commercial understanding.
  • Experience of the sales lifecycle and contract negotiations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Business development skills and the eye for spotting new business opportunity.
  • Knowledge of public sector bids, bid writing and frameworks.
  • Capability to create proposals for new business.
  • Adept in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Car and vehicle are a must due to occasional travel to meetings and events.
  • Be Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

*Due to the sensitive nature of the role, 5 Years continual residency in the UK as well as British Citizenship is required to obtain UK SC Security clearance*
