Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator

to support the development and co-ordinate the Strategies and content which support Milton Keynes City Councils social and economic and environmental benefits and environmental ambitions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships internally, with our client and within the community
Develop, manage and maintain both the Sustainability Strategy and Social Value Strategy
Effective communication; map, evidence, monitor and report on the performance relating to environmental and social value
Understand our clients evolving social, economic and environmental (SEE) requirements supporting the development of a Social Value Strategy
Enhance Ringway’s SEE reputation, both within Milton Keynes and across the wider business, through participation in business working groups / networking opportunities
Support the business objectives to increase in the levels of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the workforce
Work with operational colleagues to collate Sustainability figures monthly
Co-ordinate regular waste audits with the operational team
Identify opportunities for recycling and circular economy

What we are looking for:
Experience of delivering Social Value in collaboration with key stakeholders, preferably in the construction industry.
Demonstrable awareness of sustainability agenda and innovation resulting in reducing our carbon footprint
Experience of engaging large groups and presenting information that appeals to the audience and gains support
Team player
Able to communicate to all levels
Logical and detailed in approach to work
Methodical
Computer literate
Collaborative
