As we pioneer this initiative, we’re seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Business Development Development Director to lead the charge.


Role Overview

As our Bus Dev Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our new proposition. This hands-on position requires someone with a flair for innovation, a deep understanding of messaging solutions, and a passion for driving sales. You’ll collaborate closely with our blue-chip customer base while also exploring new business opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Own and exceed annual sales targets within your assigned territory and accounts.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Value-Added Solutions: Position our messaging solutions as value-added offerings rather than commodities.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage your expertise in solution selling to drive successful outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Embrace the startup spirit and contribute to shaping our proposition from the ground up.


Qualifications

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep knowledge of the messaging industry especially WhatsApp, conversational commerce and the contact centre sector.
  • Proven Experience: You’ve excelled in solution sales roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Thinker: You can spot market opportunities, articulate distinct aspects of products and services, and position them effectively against competitors as a solution rather than a technology
  • Effective Communicator: Whether presenting to executives or engaging with clients, your communication skills are top-notch, whether speaking to technical, business or marketing staff at any level.
  • Commercial Acumen: Financially numerate, you can strategise, plan, forecast, negotiate, and deliver.
