About the Pub

The Olde Hatte is a beautifully dressed traditional pub found on Trinity Street. One of Huddersfield’s oldest pubs, this pub retains a number of traditional features. Walking through the grand pub doors you’ll be confronted with the lovely original bar at the centre of the room. The different areas wrap around this feature bar and create the feeling of different sections throughout the pub. To the left you will find a light and airy space where you can sit and have a comfortable drink. Behind the bar you’ll find more cosy seating and the dedicated games area with darts board. The Olde Hatte has a great reputation for sports and entertainment, with full Sky & TNT sports packages and several HD TV’s inside and outside. Outside the pub you’ll find a fabulous beer garden split over two levels. One level is a raised decking area with picnic style benches; the perfect little suntrap.

Regional Manager Emma says… The Olde Hatte is well established and is already trading well but has the potential to be even bigger with the right operator in place. The local area has a strong footfall due to been so close to the bus & train station. It will need someone with bags of energy to extract the full potential from this business, but if that person can nail this business from top to bottom and from start to finish the earning potential could be huge. The Olde Hatte has great transport links thanks to it neighbouring a bus station and the local train station. This is a high street pub in Huddersfield town centre, surrounding the pub are local businesses, a local college, and John Smiths Stadium.
