Description:
We are hiring for our client, an award-winning leader in the marine industry, who is seeking a Communications Executive to join their team. This exciting role offers significant opportunities for personal growth and development, as you will be responsible for managing internal communications and strengthening employee engagement. You will work closely with the HR and Marketing teams, leading various engagement initiatives to foster a positive and connected workplace.

The Role:

As a Communications Executive your key duties will include:

  • Leading the company's social committee, organising employee and charity events
  • Developing and managing the company's intranet and internal communications
  • Organising employee briefings and producing the quarterly company newsletter
  • Managing employee engagement initiatives and assisting with HR administration
  • Representing the company at external events when required
  • Supporting HR and Marketing teams with additional duties

The Person:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a degree-level education or equivalent, and at least GCSE English Grade B
  • Be an effective team leader, communicator, and presenter with strong organisational and delegation skills
  • Be confident, with a can-do attitude and a passion for employee engagement
  • Have experience in marketing
  • Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply, with prior experience in a marketing or communications role considered desirable but not essential
