This role would be based in the Oxford area.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Space Systems Engineer, you'll lead the systems engineering process for our Space-Based projects. Your role will involve guiding the technical architecture, optimizing design for cost and performance, and ensuring successful system integration. You'll mentor junior engineers, manage technical budgets, and contribute to the overall mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
  • Oversee technical planning, system design, and architecture for space systems.
  • Manage system requirements, trade studies, and technical budgets.
  • Conduct simulations, develop test methods, and support spacecraft operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability.

Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years in space systems engineering, with expertise in propulsion, guidance, navigation, and control systems.
  • Proficient in tools like STK, MATLAB, or Simulink.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in full product lifecycle development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
