Our client, a highly respected and well-established household name, is seeking a talented Principal Security Platform Engineer - Cloud to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the security posture of a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve the security posture of our client's cloud environments hosted by strategic providers
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and drive remediation processes
  • Optimize security controls and configurations within cloud technologies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Define security standards and guardrails, supporting their implementation and ongoing support

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security engineering
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing and configuring cloud security tools and technologies (CASBs, CSPMs, CWPPs, CNAPP)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Cloud Security technologies
  • Experience securing Kubernetes, container, and serverless technologies on Azure
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and culture
  • Knowledge of policies and compliance management in a cloud environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in engineering cloud security technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft, Palo Alto, and other popular security toolsets
  • Relevant industry certifications (ISC2, OSCP, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, Azure, GCP)
