We are working with a leading financial services firm specialising in Fixed Income Pre-Trade solutions. As they continue to expand their operations, we are seeking a talented VP Development Manager to join their dynamic team in London.

Position Overview:

As the VP Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing their .NET development team focused on Fixed Income Pre-Trade solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and performance in our pre-trade processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled .NET developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quantitative Analysis, and Quality Assurance, to define and prioritise development initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles in all development activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical challenges and optimise system performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our development processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development within the financial services industry, with a focus on Fixed Income Pre-Trade solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET development.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating development teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to continuously learn and improve.
