Our client seeks a D365 Tech Lead / Developer to manage their Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) system in Bristol. This role combines leadership in technical oversight with hands-on development responsibilities, ensuring robust system performance and continuous platform enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:


  • System Performance and Stability: Take charge of maintaining and optimizing the technical health and stability of the ERP D365 system.
  • Feature Development: Lead the technical implementation of new functionalities, including SSRS report changes and X++ code development, to expand platform capabilities.
  • Customization Optimization: Streamline and simplify existing customizations while adhering to Microsoft's development standards to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Issue Resolution and Support: Provide expert-level support for application development, diagnosing and resolving system issues to improve stability and user experience.
  • Integration Management: Oversee and optimize integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and third-party systems to facilitate seamless data flow and operational efficiency.


Requirements:


  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules, with proficiency in X++ or similar languages.
  • Integration Skills: Knowledge of integration development between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems or third-party applications.
  • Reporting Knowledge: Familiarity with SSRS report changes and the ability to prepare technical documentation.
  • Development Background: Understanding of programming, product development, architecture/DevOps trends, and full-stack software development principles.
  • Power Platform Understanding: Awareness of Power Platform development, including interaction with Dataverse and D365 applications.
