The Tote are racing’s most popular pool betting operators and can be found online and across many racecourses in the UK and Ireland. Our headquarters in Wigan is the main hub for our team of over 200 innovative and ambitious experts dedicated to delivering our vision of providing the best betting experience for racing fans. For this role we are looking for someone who can commit to 2/3 days per week in our Wigan Office. A full induction, training, and personal development plan will be provided to anyone who joins the team.

As product manager you will work alongside a variety of stakeholders and lead a cross functional team to collaboratively identify key requirements, analysing based on company strategy and business value to produce and execute a data driven product roadmap. You will act as a customer champion within the product function, collaborating with commercial and technical teams to deliver amazing products to our customers.

What you’ll need:

We are looking for an expert in agile product development who is looking to join a growing company and aligns with our values of; we love winners, we own it, and we think differently. In addition, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working in a product management role
  • Proven ability to evaluate and understand customer insights and align them to the work you are delivering to ensure user needs are met
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence and interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer/business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the product roadmap, creating a suite of tools and systems to enable increased liquidity across our products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business drivers to help develop the product strategy
  • Work to translate business needs into high level stories/requirements for new to market features
  • Research, define, recommend, and implement digital specific innovation across the customer experience
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external development partners to clarify development requirements and to drive development in an agile environment
