CAD Surveyor

Our Geomatic Survey Team in Engineering Services is looking for an experienced CAD Surveyor to join the team. We are a forward-thinking in-house consultancy providing a range of services to the County Council and other authorities. This includes geomatic surveys, Geotech consultancy, engineering design, laboratory testing, site supervision and project/contract management from early stages of a project through to construction. As a CAD Surveyor you will be part of the Geomatic Survey Team who provide geomatic survey services for the County Council and other authority engineers and architects. You will be responsible for the processing of 3D point cloud data captured from total stations, 3D laser scanners and photogrammetric drone survey imagery and provide CAD deliverables for engineering and architectural design. You will be required to interact professionally and effectively with the clients and project managers. You will help with the research and development of new 3D software, technology and innovations that can improve the team’s efficiency and productivity. You will occasionally help the team with site surveys.

It is expected that you will have significant experience in CAD working with 3D cloud data in a civil engineering environment and have substantial knowledge and understanding of land survey field data capture methods and techniques.
