Our client is a respected, family-run business with over four decades of experience in the Installation, Service & Repair of recycling equipment (Baler Machines). They take pride in their dedication to excellence and offer a supportive work environment where employees can thrive. With their headquarters based in Telford , youll need to be commutable to this location and you will cover all of the UK with all expenses paid for.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent role
What youll be doing
Install, commission and test Macpresse Baler Machines
Travel to customer sites all over the UK (when not on site, you will be based at the HQ)
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts/components as needed
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing any concerns
Complete service reports, documentation, and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm + flexibility to work weekends if required
Pay
£38,000 + overtime premiums paid at £25-£30 per hour with an OTE £50,000
Skills/Experience Required
Must have a valid UK driving licence with access to vehicle
Flexibility to stay away from home at least 2 days a week
Familiarity with hydraulics
Mechanical qualifications are preferred
Electrical skills would be an advantage
Physical fitness and good health
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
