DCS Manufacturing is a leading Distributor, Manufacturer, and Exporter of Health, Beauty, and Household products. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Mixing Supervisor to play a crucial role in our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for mixing operations within the manufacturing facility.
• Supervise the mixing department, ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate Mixer work, ensuring production schedules are met.
• Test and pass off customer products, ensuring specifications are met.
• Take receipt of raw material deliveries, maintaining stock levels.
• Lead 5S deployment across the mixing area.
• Train new employees on mixing processes, procedures, and safety practices.
• Collaborate with management and subordinates to resolve production problems.
• Plan and oversee production in alignment with demand and quality standards.
• Work with the engineering function to identify tactical maintenance work.
• Improve processes and procedures, championing a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor staff, driving cultural change and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with HR and management for effective performance and employee relations.

Training Requirements:

• HR, Health & Safety, and Quality Management System Inductions.
• Relevant job-specific SOPs and GMP.
• COSHH, Manual Handling Awareness, PPT, Tensor, SAGE.
• Any other training relevant to the role.

Qualification Requirements:

• RQF Level 2 / GCSE (Grades A*-C) or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) licence.

Experience/Competencies Required:

• FMCG manufacturing/production processes experience.
• Previous experience in a mixing environment.
• Knowledge of mixing equipment and machinery.
• Technical understanding of team leadership.
• Understanding/knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Relationship building for high-performance teams.
• Record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
