The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
Location:
Glasgow/West Scotland
Job Details:
Role : Fire Alarm Service & Commissioning Engineer
Sector : Service work with Utilities and Government contractors
Systems : Primarily working on Gent fire alarms with Siemens
Salary : Up to £39,000 basic per annum
Responsibilities:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of fire alarm systems.
Commissioning standalone and multi-panel fire alarm networks for utilities and government clients.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Diagnose and rectify faults in fire alarm systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Requirements:
Experience with Gent fire alarms is essential.
Siemens experience is highly advantageous however full training will be provided directly with the manufacturer.
Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver's license for travel to various sites.
Benefits:
Travel : Paid after 30 mins each way
Overtime : Unlimited
