The role

The role will be responsible for research and design of user-focused, engaging, and accessible user experiences and interface designs within consistent brand guidelines.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Use various research methods to understand customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to run customer/stakeholder interviews, user testing, card sorting and other research activities.
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity design concepts, user flows, customer journey maps, prototypes, and accessibility tests.
  • Prototype solutions to understand and define user experiences across multiple devices and technologies.
  • Conduct usability testing and articulate feedback into delivery teams.
  • Partner with the Brand and Proposition team to develop brand and style guidelines and to determine how to best reach our target markets.
  • Create supporting materials, such as help information, video tutorials and promotional assets

The person

We are keen to hear from experienced UX/UI Designers who can work collaboratively and have the following skills:

  • A deep understanding of the UX discipline and excellent skills in problem solving through design. (E)
  • A creative approach to usability studies and feedback.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and confident attitude.
  • A strong passion for creating inclusive and accessible user experiences.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and be confident in presenting work
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to improve and learn new skills.
  • Be motivated and passionate about delivering quality products.
  • Have immaculate attention to detail (E)
  • IBM Professional Certification (D)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS in cross platform design (mobile, tablet, desktop). (E)
