About the Pub

Stunning Opportunity for a Passionate Publican

The Old White Beare is named after one of the ships that beat the Spanish Armada in 1588; legend has it that some of the timbers were once part of the same boat. Located in the delightful village of Norwood Green, this pub is a perfect example of a quality traditional village food pub.

The refurbishment of the pub was completed in late 2022; the interior was totally redecorated with new furnishings and fittings to give an even more homely feel to the cosy local. While changes have been made, the pub still keeps its traditional and welcoming character, which everyone knows and loves. The trade areas consist of a number of zoned / snug areas, including a mezzanine area & the captain's quarters; all these areas are served by two bars.

There is a large outdoor seating area to the front and the rear, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and drinks in the summer months, and the bar welcomes families and well-behaved four-legged friends. The pub also boasts a large car park.
