Salary: Up to £55,000 + Travel expenses + Excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with an independent award-winning construction and engineering consultancy who operate throughout UK. Due to growth over the past year and a number of significant project wins, they are looking to bring on board an ambitious CDM/PD Advisor to provide a range of services to their clients within the built environment from their Leicester or Northampton office.

Our client has an established CDM team already in place with a mixture of H&S, building surveying, and project management professionals who work collectively to offer this service.

Our client is interested in speaking with Principal designer professionals to join the team covering projects on a national basis (this role would be based from our clients offices in Leicester or Northampton, however you time will be split between home, office and visiting projects). The organisation is ideally looking for a well-rounded CDM professional who has experience of delivering a variety of health & safety services and an excellent understanding of the 2015 CDM regulations.
Duties/Skills required
Providing advice and helping clients fulfil their CDM duties
Preparing and submitting F10s
Design risk management and liaison with design teams to identify key hazards
Identification and collation of preconstruction information
Liaison with the construction team to ensure that there is an ongoing exchange of health and safety information
Preparation of health and safety files
Assessment and preparation pf construction phase health and safety plans
Site health and safety inspections
Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
Assisting with asbestos surveys
Ideally you will be degree qualified with relevant experience within the construction industry. Design risk management skills and PD/CDM professional qualifications are essential.
NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate are desirable along with excellent communication skills and a determination to succeed. A full driving licence and own transport is essential as some travel will be required.
