JOB – Control Systems Engineer

LOCATION – Angus

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – Competitive depending on skillset

An Angus based Engineering company are currently looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.



The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • NVQ or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience developing control systems from design through to commissioning.
  • PLC programming experience & good PLC/ HMI/ SCADA software understanding.
  • Experience working in hazardous environments with good knowledge of ATEX (beneficial).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.


The duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Full life cycle development of control systems from design through to commissioning.
  • Producing electrical drawings & schematics.
  • Ensuring health & safety requirements are met at all times.
