Location - Stockport
Salary up to £40,000
Torque Consulting are currently seeking an Internal Sales Engineer for a world leading client of ours that design, manufactures and distribute various products to sectors such as industrial automation, machinery and renewable energy.
The role will be based on-site in Stockport and be a key position within the company offering the opportunity for career growth and development.
Duties:
- Manage sales enquiries from initial enquiry to preparation of quotes
- Work with BDM's in support of project work and customer liaison
- Identify products to align with customer requirements
- Manage sales calls and email enquiries and technical enquiries
- Various other duties as when required.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience as an internal or external sales engineer wishing to become internal.
- Engineering background with an understanding of mechanical power transmissions
- Ability to read CAD 3D drawings
- Manage KPIS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to generate relationships with customers and globally based colleagues
