Are you excited about diving into the world of brand research and making a real impact? We’re looking for a Junior Research Analyst to support our key Alcoholic Beverage account, with projects spanning across 10 vibrant African markets.

KANTAR Africa Insight is a unique division within Kantar that specialises in Consumer, Shopper and Customer research in Sub-Saharan Africa (based in the UK.) Most of our work is for a leading Global Alcoholic beverage company, with whom we have a long standing partnership. We are trusted advisors on their Africa brand strategy for a very large and varied brand portfolio.

We are a small and fast growing team who pride ourselves on getting to the heart of our clients’ business needs, helping them to realise their opportunities in Africa. Africa is a region that is growing at an exponential rate. This staggering growth is evident across multiple product categories, which is why many global companies are keen to explore the opportunity.

Who We’re Looking For:

Passionate Learner:

You'll play a vital role in managing and delivering research projects, working closely with senior team members to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting Research Projects:

Work on our flagship Brand Tracking study and other ad-hoc projects in areas like Innovation, Shopper Understanding, and Creative Optimization.
Day-to-Day Management:

From planning and executing research to solving problems and delivering results, you'll be a key support for our senior team.
Designing Research Materials:

Help create questionnaires, guides, and other research tools.
Collaborating:

Work closely with suppliers and other Kantar units to ensure seamless project execution.
Data Handling:

Manage, analyse, and interpret data to uncover valuable insights.
Presentation Preparation:

Assist in creating impactful presentations for our clients.

What You’ll Need:

Educational Background:

A minimum of a 2:1 bachelor's degree (preferably in Psychology, Economics, or Business Studies, but all fields are welcome).
Quantitative Research Experience:

Some familiarity with tracking studies is a plus.
Market Research Knowledge:

Understanding of the research cycle from design to data analysis.
Analytical Skills:

Strong mathematical and data interpretation skills are essential.
Attention to Detail:

Meticulous, tenacious, and results-oriented.
Willingness to Travel:

Occasionally travel to Africa as part of your role.
