About the Role
Reporting to the Sustainability Director, you will assist with the Global Supply Chain Sustainability Program which includes development and delivery of supply chain Sustainability Program, Improvement Project Pipeline, Funding and Benefits analysis at group & Site level. Also within the Global Supply Chain Sustainability – Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement. Global Supply Chain Sustainability Environmental Project Lead – ISO14001 Continuous Improvement, Performance Measurement & Regulatory Compliance (Aspects & Impacts Register)
Responsibilities
- Support all Sites to maintain ISO14001 Environmental Management System to ensure compliance
- Maintain a ‘pipeline’ of Continuous Improvement projects which will contribute to site and Global KPI performance improvement. This will include involvement in justification for capital and revenue funding.
- Maintain the monthly KPI data collection and reporting process to ensure prompt and accurate reporting of key environmental performance data for site
- Identify and maintain working partnerships with key Environmental networks supporting the site e.g. Customer and Supplier community, SFDF, Government Agencies, Technology providers
- Assist with communication of the Supply Chain Sustainability Program which translates Sustainability Vision into Supply Chain Strategic Goals and Objectives over a 5-10 year timeframe
- Maintain and further develop the Group Supply Chain Sustainability Project pipeline including all site requested projects and develop a decision-matrix model for project prioritisation and selection over the 3-5 year timeframe
- Maintain and further develop the monthly Group KPI data collection and reporting process to ensure prompt and accurate reporting of key environmental data for all sites in the Group
About You
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sustainability or Environmental Engineering roles including proven project implementation. Global experience an advantage.
Skills:
Project Management skills: project identification, chartering and implementation planning. Ability to carry out data collection, validation, analysis and distil information for presentation and discussion. Good Financial understanding. Strong communicator and influencing skills.
Good judgement and proven problem-solving skills utilising standard methodologies (KT, 8D, RCA)
Knowledge:
A broad Environmental background and preferably degree qualified (Engineering)
