About Us:

Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge X-ray systems for security applications. They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join a functional team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of security X-ray machines, contributing to the safety and security of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, repairing, maintaining electro-mechanical systems.
  • total system-level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Work with Account Sales teams, providing technical expertise during customer visits, assisting in training when necessary, and identifying potential Sales opportunities to enhance business growth.
  • Contribute to the expansion and direction of business activities within your geographic area.
  • Take ownership of Warranty and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities, ensuring systems remain in optimal working condition.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have some experience in servicing, installing, and repairing machines.
  • Experience in a relevant sector, such as assembly, mechanical systems or electronics, is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and work with others
  • The ability to identify and promptly report any customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.
  • Active participation in continuous improvement activities by identifying and escalating process and product quality gaps, and providing viable solutions whenever possible.
