The Job:
Lanes Group are looking to appoint an Assistant Management accountant to join our busy finance team. Working form our head office in Leeds, successful applicants will have 2 years experience within a similar role.

Posting nominal journals
Updating prepayments & accruals
Posting prepayments & accruals
Balance sheet reconciliations
Control of rebate accounts
Monthly bank reconciliations
Working with external auditors
Checking monthly management accounts
Posting month end journals
Liaising with depot managers
Nominal coding of invoices
Budget & charges journals
Year end preparations

The ideal candidate will have;

Minimum of two years management accountancy experience
AAT Qualified or working towards
Confidence with verbal queries and email correspondence
Can do attitude
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Good working knowledge of excel
Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines

Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Manage time effectively
Studding CIMA

Hours of work 37.5 per week
