We are looking for an IT Technician with prior IT support experience who will provide first line support (from our Stockport office) to our user base of 190 people across the UK and Ireland. There will be very occasional travel required within the UK for support and training purposes.

We are looking for:

A NVQ Level 2 in IT or general computing.

Prior experience with IT support.

Prior experience with business administration.

Effective communication skills.

A responsive and enthusiastic personality.

Routinely respects and understands data confidentiality and corporate IT security.

Shows a commitment to their own continued learning and development.

The role will involve:

Installing and removing software.

Assist with the procurement of IT hardware and software.

Basic technical troubleshooting for all IT users in the UK and Ireland including our construction site-based individuals.

Assist with the configuration of new laptops and mobile phones.

Assist in maintaining IT records.

Assist with system maintenance and testing.

Any other reasonable IT tasks.
