About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Therapist to join us at The Peak Spa at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Perform a professional service according to standard with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
  • Advise guests of treatments and products available at the spa.
  • Ensure all standards are met and maintained through the use of effective check lists
  • Communicate through appropriate channels any guest related matters, products or equipment needs, technical, service requests, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments carried out and till receipts for submission to claim appropriate commission entitlements.
  • In the absence of the receptionist, to take bookings and accept payments for beauty treatments and products.
  • To have a good knowledge of all other services
  • To ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety are maintained at the highest of levels and regular checks are carried out on all equipment in use in the treatment rooms
  • To report all defects promptly and ensure rectification is carried out in the shortest possible time or closure of equipment facilities.
  • To carry out a variety of beauty treatments and promote the services that are offered to the standards required by the Hotel.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a fully qualified therapist.
  • Excellent level of English
  • Friendly, approachable and professional with a mature manner.
  • Proven retail sales skills
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Very competent in hot waxing, providing outstanding beauty/spa treatments with an eye for detail.
