We are excited to announce that we're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Buyer to join our dynamic team in the beautiful Falmouth, Cornwall As an Assistant Buyer, you will assist with the timely procurement of materials to meet our production schedule, create and track purchase orders, and maintain parts in the ERP system database.

You will ensure products are purchased at optimal cost and specification, negotiate with suppliers, monitor pricing, collaborate with stores for inventory levels, assist accounts with invoice queries, support the Stores team with stock takes, and cover during holidays when required.

Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hour per week.

This role is based in Mylor Bridge or Falmouth and you will be required to be flexible to work at either location.

Assistant Buyer Requirements: Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, or in a similar Procurement role.

Computer literate.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and organisational skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and perform well under pressure.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

High level of attention to detail.
